Petition to the United Nations
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
The so-called presidential elections in Afghanistan took place on September 28, 2019.
Around 800 electoral centers and one-third of the polling stations were closed because the government was unable to ensure nationwide security in the country. As a result, a significant part of the population had no opportunity to vote.
The media reported eyewitness accounts of numerous instances of irregularities and obstacles to voting and election manipulation.
Many of the polling stations were opened late. The biometric devices did not work at many polling stations. Electoral rolls and the digital lists of the biometric devices were often missing the names of eligible voters. In many cases, the polling station staff had been inadequately trained. According to TEFA (Transparent Election Foundation of Afghanistan) 88% of polling stations experienced such issues. For example, in a polling station in Ghazni, 2,500 voters tried to cast their votes, but in the electoral roll were the names of only 380 eligible Voters in advance registered. This meant that a large number of eligible voters including women were unable to vote. Several TV channels received from their audiences reports, photos, and videos of mass fraud at the polls. In some polling stations, voters were offered money to vote for certain candidates. In other cases, ballot boxes were stuffed with falsified ballot papers. The biometric devices were manipulated in places. Many voters were denied the right to vote at their polling stations because they did not have a sticker on their identity cards. The introduction of the election stickers as a prerequisite for voting was another act of election manipulation.
The majority of the population did not vote because they had lost confidence in elections because of massive election fraud in the past. Another part of the population did not participate for fear of terrorist attacks on the polling sites. According to September 28, 2019 report in the New York Times, there were 40 dead and 190 injured as a result of such attacks.
The participation of women in the election was quite minimal. Approx. 1,450 polling stations had no female staff. Many women did not vote because they did not want to be photographed.
According to media reports, less than 20% of the 9.6 million registered, eligible voters went to the polling stations. Of these, however, a significant part of the eligible voters were not allowed to cast their votes, as described above.
The number of eligible voters in Afghanistan is approximately 17.8 million. Taking into account these facts, we are certain that the number of people who actually were able to vote in this election was below 1.2 million. Both the low voter turnout and the manipulation described above mean that these elections were not legitimate.
On September 16, 2019, Mr. Tadamichi Yamamato, Head of UNAMA, called for transparent, trustworthy, and nationwide elections in Afghanistan. We have determined that exactly the opposite is what took place during this presidential election.
The Election Complaints Commission has, to date, received over 2,500 complaints regarding these elections. Commission officials said many complaints concerned technical issues with the biometric devices and the incompleteness of electoral rolls. Mr. Chaman-Shah Etimadi, secretary of the Electoral Complaints Commission, said such issues could call into question the transparency and impartiality of the electoral process.
The majority of politicians expressed concern after the announcement of the election fraud. They criticized the electoral commission for the poor organization of this election.
Mr. Ashraf Ghani and his government are using the appearance of democracy to emerge victorious from sham elections and stay in power for another 5 years.
This raises concerns about what the government of Mr. Ashraf Ghani has wrought these last five years in Afghanistan. A second term in office for this government would mean another 5 years of corruption, crime, the violation of women's rights, lawlessness, opium farming, drug trafficking, nepotism, plundering of natural resources, etc.
Mr. Ashraf Ghani is a master at election fraud. He and his government have been preparing for months to manipulate the presidential election in their favor. For these reasons, we did not participate in the election and boycotted it. We will not recognize the outcome of this election.
Best regards
Hayattullah Maiwand

We ask President Trump to restart peace talks
Dear Mr Trump, President of the United States of America,
We refer to the peace talks between the USA and the Taliban, which came to a halt on 9 September 2019.
The Afghan people yearn for a lasting peace. Wars often kill innocent people, including women and children. Our neighbouring countries would also welcome peace in Afghanistan. Pakistani president Imran Khan and foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi reaffirmed their commitment to a peaceful solution to the Afghanistan conflict on 22 September 2019. Pakistan feels that it is also a victim of terrorism and suffers as a result.
We and many Afghan politicians know that Afghan president Ashraf Ghani and his Mafia gang are against a continuation of the peace talks. They want to sabotage a peace settlement. Mr Ghani and his Mafia gang have enriched themselves with public money and are afraid of losing their privileges in the event of peace.
Mr Ashraf Ghani is a master in terms of electoral fraud. He has been preparing for months to manipulate the planned presidential elections in his favour. He is already feeling confident of victory. For these reasons, we have boycotted the planned presidential elections. We will not recognise the outcome of these elections.
A peaceful solution to the Afghan conflict should remain the first option. Only if peace efforts were not to lead to the desired result would a military solution be the second option.
We ask you, Mr President, to give the peace talks with the Taliban — that are currently halted — another chance so that efforts to bring peace to Afghanistan can be restarted.
Best regards
Hayattullah Maiwand
1.Chairman of FDPA
We want peace, yes, but not at any price!
As a result of 40 years of war, more than 2 million people have died in Afghanistan. The Afghan people yearn for a lasting peace.
We thank President Donald Trump and the world community for their efforts to resolve the conflict in Afghanistan so that the Afghan people can once again have lives marked with peace and joy. Our neighbour Pakistan is also interested in a peaceful solution to the Afghan conflict because a peaceful Afghanistan would be beneficial for the entire region.
Of course, we condemn the Taliban attacks in Kabul and other cities, which have killed several innocent people, including women and children. They have also caused significant economic damage. This approach of the Taliban is incompatible with the fundamentals of Islam.
When we take over the reins of power, we would drive the peace process forward. We want a peace in Afghanistan that corresponds to the will of the people. A peace that preserves the honour and dignity of the people as well as the achievements of the past 18 years.
When we take over, Afghans will be able to hold their heads high. We would be able to achieve sustainable peace within three months, at best by negotiating with the Taliban, but, if necessary, by successfully battling the Taliban fighters.
As part of a peace negotiation, we expect the Taliban to break off their relationship with Al Qaeda, IS, and other terrorist groups and agree to a ceasefire. Please refer to our communiqué of 1 June 2018, which remains valid. If the Taliban were willing to negotiate peace on the above basis, we could negotiate with the participation of three parties, namely us as the representative of Afghanistan, Mr Zalmay Khalizad as the U.S. Special Envoy, and representatives of the Taliban. As soon as the peace negotiations begin, we would demand an immediate truce from the Taliban. The Taliban ought to know that they cannot win this war and are already close to defeat. Our party is liberal conservative in its politics. If the Taliban refuses to agree to a peaceful solution through negotiation, then we will fight and defeat the Taliban in the battlefield. Terrorists no longer have any place in Afghanistan.
Mr Ashraf Ghani's term in office ended on 22 May 2019. His remaining in office is therefore unlawful. This illegitimate president is trying with all his might to stay in power together with his mafia gang. To this end, he wants to hold presidential "elections" in order to win another term of office through manipulation of the vote.
We, together with the majority of the presidential candidates, the Taliban, the majority of Afghan politicians, and the Afghan people oppose this call for a so-called presidential election because everyone sees lasting peace as the priority for now. For without peace, the internal security needed to conduct the elections does not exist. We will under no circumstances recognise the results of this sham election. The Taliban's recent attacks in Kabul are also likely to be related to this because they also do not accept Mr Ashraf Ghani and his election plan. The Taliban consider Mr. Ashraf Ghani a liar and a trickster. This is why they refuse to speak with him about peace. Another term in office for Mr Ashraf Ghani would result in another 5 years of war and thus further shedding of innocent blood.
The last 3 elections in Afghanistan cost almost $500 million US (the 2014 presidential & runoff elections, the 2018 parliamentary elections). Given the extent to which the votes were manipulated in all three elections, they were a tremendous waste of money. As if that were not enough, Mr Ashraf Ghani wants to spend another $150 million on the planned presidential election, which, in effect, would be a private election only in his interest.
Mr Ashraf Ghani has been involved in many crimes including election corruption, abuse of authority, corruption, sex scandal, nepotism, and multiple insults. When a new government takes power, he will face the legal consequences for these actions. He should be removed from office and placed under house arrest pending trial. More details can be found in our communiqué of 11 June 2019.
Mr Ashraf Ghani is trying to spread fear among the Afghan people by claiming that any peace negotiated with the Taliban would result in a repeat of Taliban rule as happened in the years 1996 until 2001. This is sheer propaganda on Mr Ghani's part because the Taliban have changed in recent years and should be able to adapt to modern times. Mr Ashraf Ghani has repeatedly tried to block a peaceful solution to the Afghan conflict through sabotage.
With the best wishes
Hayattullah Maiwand
1.Chairman of FDPA
We, the Afghan people and the Taliban, do not want Mr Ashraf Ghani to stay in power!
Mr Ashraf Ghani has been involved in three major election scandals in recent years, including the 2014 presidential election, the 2014 run-offs, and the parliamentary elections in October 2018.
In his speeches, Mr Ashraf Ghani claims to be president elected with the votes of people. This is absolutely not true. On 15 July 2019, Mr Abdullah Abdullah, who gave up his competing claim to victory in the 2014 elections in order to join Mr Ghani's government, acknowledged live on camera and in front of numerous onlookers, including representatives of the EU, that the presidential elections in 2014 had been a catastrophe. One then has to wonder why Mr Abdullah has agreed to be a part of this government for the past five years, even though he knew that it came to power as a result of catastrophic elections and was therefore not legitimate.
The parliamentary elections in October 2018 were also totally chaotic. More than 10,000 complaints were filed with the complaints commission for the elections.
In June 2019, Mr Karim Khalili, Chairman of the Afghan Peace Council, said in a speech that elections in Afghanistan were not decided by the electorate and result of elections, but rather by decisions elsewhere. He reported that, in the October 2018 parliamentary elections, he had been offered to have his favourites win illegally in exchange for a potential deal.
Due to these election scandals for which Mr Ghani and his friends are responsible, the confidence of the Afghan people in the results of elections has been shattered. As a result, the majority of Afghans do not want elections. We, too, don't want to have these kinds of elections and are therefore boycotting the so-called presidential "elections".
The Afghan people are currently living their daily lives with deep mourning and a constant fear of terrorist attacks. Given the suffering of our people and the lack of internal security, elections are not feasible. What the Afghan people want above all else is a lasting peace. In any case, it is clear that peace in Afghanistan is more important than the elections. However, Mr Ghani and his mafia gang want to take advantage of this situation to remain in power through falsified elections.
If presidential elections are held, massive election fraud will reoccur, as we have pointed out in our numerous letters. The result will be the Mafia gang remaining in power. They will continue to rob billions from the treasury and foreign aid to their own personal enrichment. In addition to these concerns, holding these elections will cost about $150 million, a waste if the results are manipulated.
The international community continues to support Afghanistan with aid. The money was supposed to allow for good government work. But Mr Ghani and Mr Abdullah are both misusing the money to finance their own election campaign. Mr Ashraf Ghani has already started his election campaign for 2 years.
In the parliamentary elections in October 2018, the Mafia gang took home many biometric devices to carry out election manipulation. Therefore, using biometric devices is no guarantee that the presidential elections will be protected against electoral fraud.
In the presidential elections in 2014, Mr Ghani lied to the Afghan people with false promises. He offered people the prospect of rebuilding the land, improving people's lives, and so on. Based on the evidence, we find that he has done nothing positive for the country or the people during the five years of his reign. On the contrary, he has led the country into crisis. Corruption, poverty, riots, and robberies have increased. Should he continue in office, he would do further harm to the country and its people, continue the corruption, and continue to trample on women's rights. The people's trust in politics and government will be lost. One should not give this government a second chance. Otherwise they will laugh about it and think that the world community cannot put pressure on them.
The government of Mr Ghani and Mr Abdullah is essentially a gang of mafiosi, where the corrupt, thieves, liars, and criminals each get their share. The Taliban know this, too. This is why they have repeatedly refused to negotiate peace directly with the current Afghan government. Even the Taliban does not accept the upcoming presidential "election" because it is being organised by Mr Ghani and Mr Abdullah as a kind of insider election.
The Afghan government accuses Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan and his government of pushing for a transitional government in Afghanistan. However, the fact is that WEare in favour of a transitional government. Mr Ashraf Ghani is mostly trying to provoke the Pakistani government. We have found that Mr Khan and the Pakistani government support peace in Afghanistan. This is in the interest of both Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Some people might think that we are collaborating with Pakistan. This is not the case. We have had no contact with the Pakistani government so far.
Mr Ghani has appointed his friends and followers to all the important institutions such as the election commission, senate, etc. He has therefore paved the way for massive falsifications when it comes time for any presidential elections.
Mr Ghani's term expired long ago and he is holding on to power illegally. Therefore, he is not allowed to appoint new ministers. Nevertheless, he keeps appointing new ministers who are not necessary. He continues to trample on the rule of law.
We have the impression that Mr Ghani and his friends are currently very nervous because, in the case of a future new Afghan government, they are afraid of being prosecuted for their massive violations.
Peace in Afghanistan is very close. The resolution of the intra-Afghan conference in Doha of 08 July 2019 was acceptable in many respects, partially at least tolerable for establishing peace among belligerents. Only in a few points did we think that changes were necessary. It is hoped that the changes we propose could be implemented through a peace agreement with the Taliban. We are for negotiation with the Taliban for such a peace agreement, while protecting women's rights and not losing the achievements of the past 18 years. The peace negotiations with the Taliban are still ongoing. The Taliban should seize this as a golden opportunity for a peace agreement and end to war.
But Mr Ghani has sabotaged the peace talks several times. Therefore, we and the Taliban want to exclude him from any further participation in the peace talks.
Mr Ghani and his friends often express negative opinions about the US and international community whose soldiers are in Afghanistan actively helping us and fighting terrorism. We Afghans are a hospitable people. When we assume control of the government, we will severely punish those who abuse and insult the US and the international community because this endangers peace in Afghanistan.
Yours sincerely,
Hayattullah Maiwand

Sound the alarm! We are fighting for the rights of Afghan women!
On 7 –8 July 2019, an intra-Afghan conference was held in Doha, Qatar City by a group of 17 Taliban members who met with 60 invited delegates from Afghanistan. The meeting was organised by the governments of Germany and Qatar.
According to media reports, conference participants passed a resolution aimed at paving the way for a lasting peace in Afghanistan. The resolution was published in 3 languages: namely Pashto, Dari, and English. The copy in Dari as well as the English translation contains 8 points, while the Pashto version contains 11 points. We assume that errors may have slipped into the Pashto-language version. Therefore, our comments below refer to the 8 points published in the Dari- and English-language versions.
While most of the points in this resolution could be considered acceptable or at least tolerable for establishing peace among belligerents, we consider some small, but important changes to certain aspects of the resolution, as shown below, to be essential.
The 8 points in the resolution are quoted as follows:
Point 1: All conference attendees agree that a lasting, nationwide peace in Afghanistan, which is the desire of all Afghans, can be made possible through dialogue and negotiations involving all Afghans.
Point 2: Afghanistan is a united, Islamic state and home for all ethnic groups. The sovereignty of the Islamic system, the fundamental rights of citizens, social and political justice, national unity, and territorial sovereignty are values to which all Afghans have committed themselves.
Point 3: Afghans have made sacrifices throughout history, especially over the last 40 years, to preserve Islamic and national values as well as the freedom of Afghanistan. We demand that the world community, other countries in the region, and internal leaders respect these values so that Afghanistan will not continue to be threatened by war and crisis. An intra-Afghan understanding among the different levels of society is crucial.
Point 4: Since the Afghans are actually the victims of the war, the participants of this conference consider it necessary to take those steps necessary to facilitate for the intra afghan negotiations in order to achieve peace:
- a) The participants support the on-going peace talks in Qatar. These negotiations are having a positive effect towards ending the war in Afghanistan.
- b) All warring parties should avoid threats and words vowing revenge and warmongering in their official statements, instead of those they should use softer language.
Point 5: In order to minimize the damage and consequences of the war for the population and to create a climate of trust in order to achieve peace, the warring parties should agree to take the following measures:
- a) Provide for the unconditional release of the elderly, disabled, and sick from prisons.
- b) Ensure the security of public institutions such as religious institutions, hospitals, educational institutions, shopping markets, dams, and workplaces nationwide.
- c) Ensure the security of educational institutions such as schools, religious schools, and universities.
- d) Protect the life, property, dignity, and homes of the population and reduce the number of civilian casualties to zero.
Point 6: Secure women's rights in the worlds of politics, society, economy, education, and culture within the framework of Islamic values.
Point 7: The participants agree that the road to peace is based on the following conditions:
- a) Agree on the Islamic system in Afghanistan
- b) Start the peace process while fully complying with the necessary conditions
- c) Monitoring and observation of the peace agreements
- d) reforms to preserve and strengthen basic, defence, and other national institutions belonging to all Afghans
- f) Enable the return of refugees
- g) Discuss of new terms for continued cooperation with the assisting countries
- h) Confirmation of the peace agreement by an international conference
- i) Obtain guarantees from the countries in the region and other countries that they will not interfere in the affairs of Afghanistan
- We support all efforts for peace in Afghanistan, including the resolution of the Intra-Afghan Conference held in Moscow on 6 February 2019 . We demand that the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, the United Nations, the European Union, and the neighbours of Afghanistan confirm and support the Qatar peace resolution.
Below, we propose our suggested changes to the points of the resolution:
On Point 2: Religion and politics should be separated. The sovereignty of the Afghan constitution should continue to be maintained. Therefore, it is unnecessary to replace it with the Islamic system. As indicated in our letter of 14 February 2019, we might possibly consider changes to the Constitution if necessary.
To Point 5a: In the event Taliban members older than 65 are released, this should be subject to a prior review. Those guilty of severe crimes should not be released despite having reach this age. Those Taliban members in prison who are seriously ill should undergo a specialist medical examination, with their possible release not considered until after they have received a corresponding medical recommendation for release.
On Point 6, women's rights:
Women in Afghanistan have suffered tremendously from cruelty, distress, and torture during the last 40 years, including during the years of Taliban rule (1996-2001). They were burned alive, stoned, imprisoned without having committed a crime, tortured with whips, and underage girls were forcibly married. We do not want a repeat of these atrocities. Women's rights should never be trampled on again. We call on the Taliban not to underestimate or disregard the women of Afghanistan. There are many women in Afghanistan who are more intelligent than some Taliban members.
Although there is currently a women's organisation in Afghanistan, it cannot enforce the legitimate rights of women for fear of terrorist reprisals. It also cannot expect any support from the current Afghan government because it is corrupt and occupied by the Mafia gang. Out of fear of terrorist attacks and suicide bombings, Afghan women have to date avoided asserting their rights; otherwise, millions of women would have taken to the streets to protest against the violation of their rights. This is why the majority of Afghan women have placed all their expectations on us, to alert the world community to their suffering. We ask for support from the world community to protect Afghan women from further harm and violence. In this context, we refer to our various letters that we have published on the rights of Afghan women on our homepage.
In the event we assume control of the government, all Afghan women would be able to hold their heads up high because we will ensure that women's rights are respected.
On Point 7a: See our position on Point 2.
On Point 7b: The peace process and ceasefire must begin no later upon signing of a peace agreement and should not wait for full compliance of all conditions.
On Point 7d: The national defence institutions should continue to be modernised.
On Point 7i:
Neighbouring countries should guarantee that they will not support terrorists. Terrorists will have no place in the Afghanistan of the future.
On Point 8:
We commented on the resolutions made at Moscow with our letter of 14 February 2019.
We ask the UN, the EU, and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation not to accept the resolution in the form passed by the conference participants since this would lead to Talibanism. We ask the above organisations to consider the changes we have proposed in place of this resolution as the basis for a potential peace agreement.
As outlined above, we have filtered out some aspects of the resolution passed at the most recent Intra-Afghan Conference which would be detrimental to Afghanistan and the Afghan people. These "Trojan horses" were sneaked into the resolution under Taliban pressure as an attempt to impose their ideology on the Afghan people with cat and mouse tricks.
In any case, we want to avoid a repeat of Taliban rule. We and the Afghan people do not want any Talibanism. The Taliban have been responsible for killing innocent civilians, including women and children, for 18 years as a result of their hostilities. A Taliban regime will not work in Afghanistan because Afghan society has since become much more modern and cosmopolitan over the past 18 years and most Afghans now have high educational standards. If the Taliban regime were re-established, millions of Afghans would once again be forced to flee overseas as refugees from their homeland.
Dear President Trump, dear members of the world community! Please do not give Talibanism a chance in Afghanistan.
Should we take over the future Afghan government, we would offer Taliban members employment opportunities as part of a peace settlement, for example in the fight against opium cultivation, drug trafficking, land-grabbing, serious crime, and counterterrorism. The number of employees would depend on the availability of jobs. The state would be the employer. The Taliban would not be allowed to act independently in these tasks, but would instead be subject to the state's monopoly on command.
We respect Islam and all world religions. Islam is a holy religion. Islam recommends that its followers make peace. It would be a misuse of religion if innocent people were killed in the name of Islam.
In any case, we welcome the ongoing peace negotiations and welcome the fact that the Taliban are now also interested in a lasting peace. However, all aspects of the Afghanistan issue should be considered. Considering all the efforts of the participants and the helping countries, we very much hope that the peace desired by all Afghans can be achieved in a timely manner.
We wish to thank the United States, the United Nations, Germany, Qatar, as well as all the other countries in the world community who are working to end the war and restore peace in Afghanistan.
Yours sincerely,
Hayattullah Maiwand

Afghanistan will forever remain a free country!
Afghanistan will forever remain a free country!
19 August is Afghanistan's Independence Day. Afghanistan received its independence 100 years ago. Of course, Afghanistan is still a free country. We and all Afghans are proud of our freedom. Despite the 40-year war, the Afghan people have defended their freedom and have not given it up.
The Afghan government has planned major celebrations to mark Afghanistan's centenary of independence, for which it plans to spend 384 million AFN ($4.8 million US). This is at the private request of Mr Ashraf Ghani and some people who want to stage the celebration for their own pleasure and make themselves popular.
We and the Afghan people oppose this project by the Afghan government. This continues the waste of money from public funds that has been going on for 18 years.
Afghanistan is currently suffering from war and poverty. As a result of the war, many Afghans have lost their family member. They suffer daily from grief and despair. These people will not accept such a massive celebration. Also, taking into account the very poor security situation in Afghanistan, it would be irresponsible to organise festivities that would expose the lives of the civilian population to unpredictable risks.
According to the latest current situation report by UN Special Envoy Mr Tadamichi Yamamoto, up to 80% of the Afghan population is suffering from poverty. According to media report, more than 600,000 Afghan women are widowed. Most of them have children for whom they cannot even afford bread. The money should be distributed to the widows instead of being spent on this party. It would be a cause for joy and celebration if we helped the poor who have little to eat and saved them from their plight.
For the above reasons, Mr Ashraf Ghani's plan is a shame which he should immediately stop.
When we take over the government, we will call on those 400 to 500 people who have enriched themselves with millions of dollars in public money to repay the misappropriated money to the Afghan Treasury. A number have already signalled their willingness to repay the funds they have misappropriated, to the future Afghan government. We welcome this and will use this money to finance an additional pension for the widows of Afghanistan.
In our opinion, the independence of Afghanistan should be celebrated in an appropriate way, for example, with entertainment and reports on TV.
With best wishes
Hayattullah Maiwand

Shame, shame on Mr Ashraf Ghani
The government of Mr Ashraf Ghani came to power on the basis of fraudulent elections in September
2014.
The official term of this government ended on 22 May 2019. Despite this fact, however, Mr Ashraf Ghani wants to continue governing. He dismissed some ministers after 22 May 2019 and ordered the release of 886 prisoners on 4 June 2019, although he has no legal power to take these decisions. We condemn his actions because the released prisoners could be terrorists, murderers, and criminals. Our brave soldiers and police officers have fought for years in life-threatening missions to put these criminals behind bars. Ashraf Ghani's plan to release these people makes him a traitor. We will have this case investigated if we take office. And Mr Ashraf Ghani will suffer the consequences.
US Special Envoy Mr Zalmai Khalilzad, the Afghan people, and the Taliban have made it clear that their current priority is the peace we all long for. However, as long as Mr Ashraf Ghani holds onto the reins of power, whether it is one year or five, there will be no peace in Afghanistan. Mr Ashraf Ghani does not seek peace. It does not seem to matter to him that several thousand of our people die each year as a result of the ongoing war. He is only concerned with holding on to power. The Taliban has repeatedly stated, including at the May 2019 meeting in Moscow, that they are unwilling to hold direct peace talks with Mr Ashraf Ghani. We understand the Taliban's rejection of Mr Ashraf Ghani, especially since both the Afghan people and the Taliban realize that Mr Ashraf Ghani is a traitor and a liar. It is possible that this is the reason why the Taliban rejected the Eid-al-Fitr ceasefire they would otherwise have agreed to. When we take over, we believe it will be possible to achieve lasting peace in three months. Both the Afghan people and the Taliban have become tired of war. This has therefore increased the chances of a peaceful solution to the conflict.
About two years ago, we learned through an informant that Mr Ashraf Ghani was having sexual relations with a lady whom we will not name here. We did not take the matter seriously at the time because we considered it Mr Ashraf Ghani's private business.
In May 2019, General Habibullah Ahmadzai said in a television interview that some of Ashraf Ghani's closest confidants in the presidential palace have been having sexual relations with women who in return would receive government offices. We thank Mr Ahmadzai for bringing this to light. Given this updated information, we searched the internet for the name of the lady we heard about from our informant two years ago and discovered that she is currently serving as ambassador to a European country. It is therefore possible that this lady was named to this position as ambassador in the manner described above. This is shameful for Afghanistan and the Afghan people. The Presidential Palace is not a brothel, but a place of politics for Afghanistan and the world. According to our information, Mr Ashraf Ghani and his advisers Mr Fazal Fazli and Mr Hamdullah Muhib are allegedly involved in the sex scandal and several other offences. Therefore, all three should be kicked out of the Presidential Palace. As we mentioned in our letter of 23 May 2019, Mr Ashraf Ghani and his wife Roula Ghani should be put under house arrest in a 2-room apartment. Given Mr Ghani's aggressive nature, necessary measures should be taken to prevent a possible risk of suicide. The other two accused, Mr Fazal Fazli and Mr Hamdullah Muhib, should be detained in individual rooms and held accountable by the judiciary.
As a rule, we do not seek to interfere in people's private lives. In the present case, however, it is scandalous that government offices may have been assigned on the basis of sexual relations. The women allegedly involved should, in our opinion, be acquitted because they were acting under duress.
Mr Ashraf Ghani is afraid of prosecution for treason, corruption, nepotism, and misuse of his office for sexual relations. He is trying to stay in power in order to protect himself and his friends from justice. According to our information, the attorney general is a friend of Mr Ashraf Ghani. We do not know whether this friendship persists.
We call on all Afghans to join forces with the help of Interior and Defence Ministries to push these criminals out of power.
When we assume control of the government, we will have all of the official acts of Mr Ashraf Ghani and his finances from the time he took office through 22 May 2019 examined by a team of experts. We do not recognize the acts undertaken by Mr Ashraf Ghani since 22 May 2019 in either domestic or foreign policy, because his continuation in power beyond that date constitutes a violation of the Constitution.
With best wishes
Hayattullah Maiwand

Balance sheet for Ex President Ashraf Ghani
Mr Ashraf Ghani took over government in Afghanistan in September 2014 due to electoral fraud. According to the law, his term of office ended on the 22/5/2019 at 00.00. However, Mr Ashraf Ghani does not want to leave his seat of government. He is a dictator and is trying to retain power using every means possible. We, as well as the people of Afghanistan and many politicians, do not accept a continuation of his government. The Taliban are also against Ashraf Ghani staying in power. We do not recognise his work in the government either domestically or in foreign policy, because his term has ended. From the 22/5/2019, all members of the government and officials should stay in their positions until further notice. Only Mr Ashraf Ghani should leave the government.
Recently, an Afghan TV channel referred to information from an employee of the constitutional court “Stara Mohkama”, according to which Mr Ashraf Ghani forced the court to portray the continuation of his government beyond the 22/5/2019 as compliant with the constitution. Mr Ashraf Ghani, in fact, has influence over the constitutional court. However, the fact is that an extension to Mr Ashraf Ghani’s rule is illegal, and in no way corresponds to the will of the people.
Over the last three years, Mr Ashraf Ghani has engaged in election manipulation three times, in the presidential elections in 2014, then in the second ballots (presidential run-off) in 2014, and most recently in the parliamentary elections in October 2018. In the secondary ballots (presidential run-off) in 2014, he received financial payments amounting to several million US dollars from a range of traders and mafia groups who wanted him to win the election, to help finance his election campaign. In return, during his term in office, Mr Ashraf Ghani sold state-owned land to the above dealers and mafia groups at knock-down prices.
Recently, Mr Ashraf Ghani opened the new parliamentary term and so allowed a mafia group into parliament. The members of parliament are mainly drug dealers, smugglers and corrupt persons. Most of these members of parliament have paid up to 1 million US dollars in bribes to gain their seat in parliament. As the composition of his parliament shows, Mr Ashraf Ghani would like to occupy the positions in a future Afghan government with mafia groups. At the same time, Afghanistan has enough suitable, trained, qualified experts, high-ranking diplomats and academics for government and parliament. However, these people did not have any money to buy the seats in parliament. It is not a parliament, but a criminal headquarters. We do not want to accept a parliament like this. In the event of a takeover of government, we want to throw out all the members of parliament selected by this electoral fraud.
To help achieve his personal goals, Mr Ashraf Ghani convened the large council “Loya Jirga” in the period from the 29/4/2019 to 3/5/2019. The “Loya Jirga” achieved no positive results of any kind. We, and the majority of the Afghan people, plus several politicians, were against convening the “Loya Jirga” as it was clear from the outset that a “Loya Jirga” would not be in a position to facilitate the desired peace. Mr Ashraf Ghani squandered state money amounting to several million dollars on the “Loya Jirga”. During this period, the city of Kabul was besieged by the security forces. Major connecting roads were blocked. Businesses and Store had to stay closed. Traders suffered economic damage in the tens of millions (US dollars). Schoolchildren were not able to go to school for a week. Those in poverty were not able to go to work. Mr Ashraf Ghani must pay for this damage and these costs.
Mr Ashraf Ghani has failed in all areas of his governmental tasks. The situation in Afghanistan has become worse during his term, including domestic security, women’s rights, corruption, unemployment, opium cultivation, drug trade, poverty etc. Around 54% of the Afghani population live below the poverty level. It seems Mr Ashraf Ghani is not interested in solving the problems, rather he has concentrated on furthering his own interests, namely acting as a ruler and king.
During the 5 years of his term, Mr Ashraf Ghani has trampled all over the Afghan constitution many times. Furthermore, time and again, he has lied to the Afghan people. Using tricks and lies, he tries to get the tribes in Afghanistan involved in disputes with each other. However, this has failed, as the Afghans have a mutual love for each other.
For 2 years, Mr Ashraf Ghani has been running a secret election campaign at the state’s expense. He has made trips to several provinces as part of his election campaign. He has also use the major council assembly “Loya Jirga” for his own benefit as an election campaign. He continually invites people to his presidential palace to promote himself. All of this is illegal electoral campaign activity.
In March 2019, Mr Ashraf Ghani’s wife, Mrs Rula Ghani wanted to distribute state money amounting to a billion Afghanis to the women of Afghanistan, at a rate of 500 Afghanis per person. This was an attempt to campaign for election on behalf of her husband Mr Ashraf Ghani. For this purpose, she sent the money to various clinics with the order to distribute the money to the women. Some of the money has already been distributed by the clinics. When the Taliban found out about this, they took the money away from a clinic in Jalalabad and burnt it. Mrs Rula Ghani is also embroiled in nepotism. She comes from Lebanon and has worked to ensure some state contracts were awarded to Lebanese people, to ensure higher commissions to her relatives in Lebanon. This means Mrs Rula Ghani could be prosecuted for improper distribution of state funds and nepotism.
Afghanistan urgently needs order, freedom, economic progress, women’s rights, peace and happiness. It has become clear to both us and the Afghan people that Mr Ashraf Ghani will not bring peace and order, but chaos. He does not have the character of a statesman. In January 2019, he insulted high-ranking politicians in front of rolling cameras. Mr Ashraf Ghani has made himself liable to prosecution due to the electoral fraud stated above,as well as corruption, nepotism and improper distribution of state funds.
As Mr Ashraf Ghani is not prepared to give up his governmental seat, we would therefore like to encourage active service units of the interior and defence ministries to remove him from the presidential palace, as his term of office as president has come to an end. This approach should no be seen as a coup, rather we want to save Afghanistan. The action should be peaceful so it does not endanger anyone. Having said that, with Mr Ashraf Ghani, we’re dealing with an aggressive, arrogant person. So it would be understandable if the active service units (police and soldiers) had to take appropriate measures to defend themselves. After these measures, it would be good if Mr Ashraf Ghani and his wife Rula Ghani were placed under house arrest in a 2-room apartment, with a ban on travel overseas, because he is aggressive, and he and his wife would be liable to face several prosecutions.
We encourage the politicians and the Afghan people to take appropriate, non-violent action against the dictator Ashraf Ghani, to force him to hand over power to a transitional government.
We would warn Iran against going to war with our partner nations such as the USA, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and others. If Iran attacks these countries, then our nation of Afghanistan will not remain neutral, but support the alliance against Iran. Afghanistan has a powerful army, and so should not be underestimated by Iran.
We demand that Iran immediately stops building nuclear weapons and rockets, as these weapons of mass destruction pose a threat to the world.
If Iran does not change its behaviour, and we take on the role of government, we reserve the right to reduce all imports from Iran to Afghanistan, which currently amount to several billion US dollars, to zero.
With best wishes
Hayattullah Maiwand
We call on the Taliban to cease fire for at least one week.
The war in Afghanistan has been going on for 40 years. The Afghan people have experienced uninterrupted suffering as a result of this war. Many Afghans have lost family members, some have become physically or mentally handicapped, and most Afghan citizens are also suffering economic consequences. All Afghans long for a lasting peace and joy in their homeland.
The holy fast of Ramadan is a month for reconciliation and peace, culminating in the Eid-ul-Fitr festival. Eid is supposed to be a time of joy.
So that the Afghan people can forget their suffering for at least a few days and not have to cry during these holy days, we call on the Taliban to lay down their weapons for at least 7 days, i.e. 2 days before, 3 days during, and 2 days after Eid.
We call on the Afghan Government to also cease fire against the Taliban during this same holy time. Afghan security forces should only respond in self-defence to attacks initiated by the Taliban.
By contrast, we do not call for a ceasefire against IS and other terrorist groups. The fight should continue uninterrupted against these groups.
On the occasion of this holy month of Ramadan and the upcoming Eid festival, we would like to send our congratulations to the Afghan people and the Taliban and hope that a lasting peace will be realized in our homeland as soon as possible.

Präsident Change!
Afghan President Ashraf Ghani intends to convene a major council, even though the majority of Afghans reject the idea. This idea has everything to with Mr Ghani's personal wishes. He should immediately stop his plans to convene the council. We will not accept any decisions taken at such a meeting. Convening such a council is redundant and will cost several million dollars. Instead, this money should be used to help those who have lost their homes in the floods.
Mr Ghani has repeatedly attempted to sabotage the peace process with the Taliban. Fortunately, his previous attempts to do so have been unsuccessful. The Taliban do not want peace talks with Mr Ghani. They are willing to speak with many Afghan politicians, but not Mr Ghani.
The Afghan people do not want this failed president. We also do not want to work with him because he has no concept of good policy.
Mr Ghani's term in office ends 22 May 2019. The majority of Afghan politicians will not accept him as president for even an hour longer. It is also unlikely that the Taliban will want Mr Ashraf Ghani to remain in office after the end of his term.
Therefore, we ask Mr Ashraf Ghani not to continue governing after the end of his term. Should he remain in office, then the peace process will fail and the war will continue.
From 12 midnight on 22 May 2019, as soon as Mr Ashraf Ghani's term as president comes to an end, the president's second deputy, Mr Sarwar Danish, should take over the reins of government. The entire cabinet, as well as Mr Abdullah Abdullah, could continue to run their offices until a new president begins his work and forms a new government.
Under the Afghan constitution, Mr Ashraf Ghani may not continue to govern after the end of his term.
We urge Mr Ghani to leave the presidential palace immediately after the end of his term.
According to media reports, Ghani's government intends to open the new term of office of the Afghan parliament in the foreseeable future. The results in the October 2018 parliamentary elections were extensively manipulated. That is why we will not recognize such a parliament.
With kind regards,
Hayattullah Maiwand
1st Chair Hayattullah Maiwand
We and the Afghan people have had enough of President Ashraf Ghani and his trickery
In the last few days Mr Ashraf Ghani has appointed new members for the so-called Electoral Commission and the Electoral Complaints Commission. His tactic is continue playing the same game but with new cards. Therefore, we refuse to recognise the members of the Electoral Commission or the Electoral Complaints Commission. Mr Ashraf Ghani wants to ensure that his supporters emerge victorious in the parliamentary elections from October 2018. That is why he is using various tricks to legalise the parliamentary elections which were heavily rigged. He is totally mistaken and does not realise that this is as impossible as taking a mixture made from salt and sugar, and separating out the two elements from each other.
In one of his speeches Mr Ashraf Ghani claimed that he is willing to sacrifice his own life in the name of peace. This is obviously a lie. What he actually wants, is to try everything,so that he can remain in power.
It is obvious that Mr Ashraf Ghani has no clue about politics. We can see from his behaviour that he regards lying as a type of politics.
Mr Ashraf Ghani is arrogant. He shows no affection for the Afghan people, the only person he has any affection for is himself.
President Ashraf Ghani has been in power since 2014 as a consequence of massively rigged elections. His presidential performance has been dire. This government has failed in both domestic policy and foreign policy. Since coming to power he has made no progress at all. He has not served in office, but quite the opposite, as he has betrayed the Afghan people by flouting the law and trampling all over them. In the fight against terrorism Mr Ashraf Ghani is not capable of carrying out effective war administration. One of the reasons for this is the extremely weak intelligence service. President Ashraf Ghani’s government is not even capable of guaranteeing security in the capital city of Kabul, let alone in other parts of the country.
Corruption and chaos are rife, for example in the armed forces, police, judiciary, customs, intelligence services, tax authorities, administration, educational establishments etc. Crime has increased including a rise in violence against women, sexual assault on women and children, robbery, kidnapping of people, opium cultivation, drugs-trafficking etc. Furthermore, he has ignored women’s rights, and there has been in increase in poverty, unemployment and the number of drug addicts.
Mr Ashraf Ghani is responsible for all regression and negligence during his term of office. All of this is a disgrace for Mr Ashraf Ghani and he should be ashamed of himself for wanting to remain in power. Mr Ashraf Ghani is the worst president that has ever ruled Afghanistan. He is corrupt, and he is a liar.
With best wishes,
Chairman of the FDPA
Women's rights are off-limits and should not be sacrificed in any peace negotiations with the Taliban!
The media has been reporting some of the Taliban's demands during the peace negotiations, including:
- changes to women's rights
- changes to the Afghan constitution
- withdrawal of foreign troops from Afghanistan
- not allowing Afghan territory to be used as a base against other countries
- removal of leading Taliban members from the blacklist
- release of Taliban members from Afghanistan's government prisons
Our response to these demands is as follows:
a) Women's rights:
Afghan women enjoy their rights as women and equal rights with men. Women in such Islamic countries as Morocco, Turkey, Egypt, and others enjoy these rights. Neither we nor the Taliban can take away these rights. The late King Ghazi Amanullah Khan recognized women's rights and women's right to self-determination in Afghanistan around 100 years ago. Women should have the freedom of choice whether to wear the veil or headscarf or not. This is not an innovation. Even during the reigns of King Amanullah Khan, King Zahir Shah, and President Dawud Khan, women in Afghanistan were free to wear veils, headscarves, or not.
b) Changes to the Afghan constitution:
Of course, changes can be made to the constitution. These could include:
|
c) Withdrawal of foreign troops:
The Taliban's demand for the withdrawal of foreign troops from Afghanistan is not the Taliban's own ideology; instead, it is the Iranian government that is behind this demand. When we assume control of the government, we could negotiate with the US and the world community about the future purpose and duration of foreign troops in Afghanistan. We want to avoid a repetition of the terrible events of the 1990s, when the withdrawal of Soviet soldiers from Afghanistan was followed by the long-lasting devastation of civil war. The Taliban's claim that Afghanistan is a country under occupation is completely inaccurate. Afghanistan is a free and sovereign country. US and international soldiers came here after the terrorist attack of 11 September 2001, to help us fight terrorism.
d) Not allowing Afghan territory to be used as a base against other countries:
The Taliban's demand is also Iranian in origin. Afghanistan is a free and sovereign country. We are proud of our freedom. We will not be intimidated by Iran.
e) Removal of the leading Taliban members from the black list:
We could imagine removing the leading Taliban members from the blacklist if a peace agreement is signed. However, only later, after peace and stability are restored.
f) Release of Taliban members from Afghanistan's government prisons
When we take over the government, we may consider a gradual release of Taliban members currently in prison, but only after peace is restored. Those who elderly and critically ill would be the first to considered for release. We would then gradually consider the release of other prisoners. An immediate release of the prisoners before the restoration of peace cannot take place.
The ongoing peace negotiations are a golden opportunity for the Taliban to lay down their arms and make peace. This opportunity will not come again. We will enable the Taliban to open a single representative office in Kabul. However, the office must not be misused to organise terrorist activities. The funding of the aforementioned Taliban representative office may not be provided by foreign sources, but would only be financed by the Afghan state. The Taliban will not be allowed to have offices outside Afghanistan. In addition, we do not want Taliban members in the future Afghan government.
We respect the efforts of US Special Envoy Dr Zalmai Khalilzad and wish him every success in the peace negotiations with the Taliban. We hope that he will succeed, taking into account all the wishes of the Afghan people.
We also thank all countries involved in seeking peace in Afghanistan.
In recent days, Mr. Ashraf Ghani and former President Hamid Karzai have been talking about convening a major council regarding Taliban demands etc. This is a kind of trick, possibly an effort to enforce goals that might be incompatible with the constitution. We fear that unconstitutional decisions would be passed in the framework of such a council, including some at the expense of women's rights, etc. This is an old idea first proposed by former President Hamid Karzai, who was in office from 2001 to 2014. Hamid Karzai seems to have a more conservative approach to women's rights.During his term of office, women's rights in Afghanistan received little respect. Mr. Karzai has led the country to a crisis. During Ashraf Ghani's term, the situation has deteriorated even more. We reject the call for a so-called council and will not recognize any decisions it makes.
With best wishes,
Hayattullah Maiwand

Iran is interfering in Afghanistan's internal affairs!
In 2014, Ashraf Ghani and Abdullah Abdullah stole the Afghan presidential election with massive election fraud. The extent of election fraud was over 80%. During their term of office, they repeatedly abused the Afghan Constitution. The Afghan lawyers acting as transparency watchdogs accuse the Afghan government of disregarding 90% of the Constitution's provisions. The 35 million people of Afghanistan expect their government to serve their country's interests. Instead, Mr Abdullah Abdullah and the Afghan government have been working to line their own pockets or have otherwise been wrapped up in corruption. Mr Abdullah Abdullah is suspected of personally enriching himself with hundreds of millions of dollars in bribes.
Ashraf Ghani and Abdullah Abdullah have signed several government contracts with both Afghan and international companies since in office. These include contracts for the exploitation of the country's mineral resources etc. According to media reports, Abdullah Abdullah and the Afghan government have signed an addendum to the 1973 agreement with Iran on the use of river water. Iran has long sought to increase the amount of water it takes from Afghanistan's rivers. In our communiqué of 10 November 2018, we stated our hope that the Afghan government would not make concessions to Iran beyond those already granted in 1973. Should we take over the reins of government, we will scrutinize all contracts and treaties signed by the current Afghan government and terminate those that are disadvantageous. Iran's use of water from Afghanistan's rivers was only resolved with the 1973 agreement between Afghanistan and Iran, signed during the reign of former King Zahir Shah by Afghan Prime Minister Musa Shafiq and Iranian Prime Minister Abas Huwaida.
During the administration of former President Hamid Karzai, the Iranian government often sent full bags of cash (US dollars) to Kabul for distribution to Karzai and his government as bribes. Iran claims to be an Islamic republic. In Islam, however, bribery is strictly prohibited. We reiterate our demand made in our communiqué of 5 December 2018 that Iran should not interfere in the internal affairs of Afghanistan.
If Mr Abdullah Abdullah and the Afghan Government are intentionally signing away the wealth of the land through such treaties in order to cause problems for future governments, we warn them against the consequences.
The Afghan government is largely made up of corrupt persons, including some plain and simple robbers who are hard at work stealing the country's assets. They place no value on the interests of Afghanistan. Their only goal is self-enrichment by embezzling public assets.
If those who have enriched themselves through bribes or stealing public assets think that they can escape punishment by going into exile once we take over the government, they would be mistaken. We will issue warrants through Interpol for the arrest and extradition of these persons in order to bring them to justice. At this point, we refer to the compromise proposed to these persons in our communiqué of 11 October 2018. This proposal remains on the table.
When we take over the government, we will leave in office those ministers, governors, and senior officials who have diligently performed their duties. We will only fire those who have not been fulfilling their duties.
We have no personal enmity with Ashraf Ghani or Abdullah Abdullah. However, we attach great importance to the observance of Afghan Constitution and the consideration of the interests of our country Afghanistan.
In recent months we have sharply condemned the manipulation of the parliamentary elections held in October 2018. Nevertheless, the electoral commission and the Afghan government are trying to deceive the public with various tricks to convince them that the elections were lawful. According to media reports, candidates for election to parliament were paying bribes of up to $1 million per seat to the Electoral Commission and Afghan Government. As we have pointed out several times, we do not accept the results of these elections. When we take over the government, we will invalidate these elections.
With best wishes,
Hayattullah Maiwand

The Taliban negotiating for peace?
Everyone in Afghanistan, young and old, men, women, and children, is happy about the ongoing peace negotiations.
We welcome the fact that the Taliban are currently prepared to negotiate peace with the United States. However, the Taliban is still refusing to negotiate directly with representatives of the Afghan government. We agree with this position since the government under Ashraf Ghani is corrupt and involved in nepotism. This government works with thieves who have stolen the state's wealth for their own personal advantage.
Of course, we and the Afghan people demand that Afghan interests not be sacrificed in any peace agreement.
We would like to thank the United States, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Pakistan for their efforts towards securing peace for Afghanistan. Restoring peace in Afghanistan is also in the interests of our neighbours and the entire world.
In October 2018, so-called elections for parliament were held in Afghanistan, but more than 70% of the votes were falsified We and the Afghan people have criticised this manipulation of the election results. The electoral commission claims to have separated the valid votes from the invalid ones. Instead, its members have sold the votes in exchange for bribes from the mafia currently running Afghanistan. It has been reported that votes were sold for between 2000 and 4000 Afghanis each ($27 to $54), which means that the bribes amounted to hundreds of thousands of dollars. The Afghan people were cheated both in how the parliamentary elections were conducted and in the alleged recounting of the ballots. The people are understandable upset and disappointed with this double fraud. We, too, are dissatisfied with the elections and do not accept these results.
Ashraf Ghani and his gang are already planning to steal the upcoming presidential election. Consequently, It cannot be considered a free election, since the results will be determined in favour of the Afghan mafia. We will not accept any presidential election that is manipulated. We call for a boycott of the election since it is only a staged spectacle being run by Ashraf Ghani and his henchmen. The formation of a new transitional government that would exclude this Afghan mafia would help maintain order and discipline in Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, the media is reporting that the US government is planning to reduce the number of its soldiers in Afghanistan.
The terrorists should not think that this will mean everything will be in play if and when the US withdraws. The Afghan army is strong enough and is getting stronger by the day. Its military equipment is constantly being modernised. The Afghan army has successfully defended the country for the past 4 years. A partial withdrawal of US forces will therefore have no major impact on Afghanistan's security. The US and the world community, meanwhile, will continue to support Afghanistan both financially and militarily. Ifnecessary, the USA could increase the number of its troops in Afghanistan at any time.
Dear President Trump, you are the best president for the United States of America. Your foreign and domestic policies are outstanding. You have made positive changes for the US strategy in Afghanistan. Afghanistan still needs support from the US and the world community.
With best wishes,
Hayattullah Maiwand

Hello world! We Afghans have had enough of the Iranian regime!
The conflict and civil war, in Afghanistan which has been raging for 40 years has meant that many Afghans have fled to other countries, including Iran, to look for protection from the war, and to live in peace and quiet. The Iranian government has put our Afghan brothers living there under pressure with the threat of deportation, and then induced them into serving as soldiers in the Syrian war, with offering small amounts of money. They have been exploited as an easy target by the Iranian government, and sent to their death in Syria. It’s a disgrace, and a violation of human rights, and also against the teachings of Islam, that Afghans fleeing the Afghan war and looking for protection are then sent to the Syrian war.
We demand that the Iranian government brings back our brothers deployed in the Syrian war, and stops sending any more there.
We have been made aware of deliveries of Iranian weapons to the Taliban. The Taliban are sent to Afghanistan to carry out destruction and kill people. So, Afghans are being used to kill Afghans. Iran wants to use this process to create unrest in Afghanistan to create an advantage for itself, or further its own interests. We demand that Iran immediately stop this action, improper behaviour and tactics targeted against Afghanistan, and to stop interfering in the internal affairs of Afghanistan.
The Iranian government is responsible for the unrest in Afghanistan and a number of other countries. The Afghans love the people of Iran, and are very aware that over 90% of Iranians want freedom and don’t want the current government. So, the Iranian government would be well advised to change their policy immediately.
We demand that the Afghan government immediately take the traitors working for Iran in Afghanistan into custody, and put them on trial.
If the Iranian leadership believes that Afghanistan has become weak due to the war which has been raging for 40 years, then they are seriously mistaken. On the contrary, our heroic soldiers are always ready and able to defend their homeland, and fight the enemy. The Afghan army is extremely well-equipped and has many years of combat experience. The entire Afghan people supports the Afghan army with hearts and minds. We do have some minor ethnic conflicts in Afghanistan on occasion, but in the face of a threat from outside, we are all Afghans together.
Afghanistan has many friends around the world, including Saudi Arabia. We would like to warn Iran from declaring war against Saudi Arabia, for in this case the Afghani army would stand shoulder to shoulder with the Saudi Arabian army.
When the Taliban demands that the USA and the rest of the global community should leave Afghanistan, then in reality, this ideology does not come from the Taliban. Iran is behind this, as this is how it aims to reach its strategic objectives in the region.
It seems the Taliban now understand that their war is being controlled and led in the background by the enemies of Afghanistan, in order to destroy their homeland, and to stir up animosity between the ethnic groups. The Taliban should feel disappointed by Iran, as Iran only supplied weapons to further Iranian interests, and sent them to Afghanistan to kill their compatriots.
We welcome the fact that the Taliban are now thinking of peace for the reasons above. In the event of a peace agreement, they could help our brave army and participate in rebuilding the country.
Best regards,
Hayatullah Maiwand

In Afghanistan democracy does not exist, in every city there is criminal anarchy!
When the Karzai era ended in 2014, Messrs. Aschraf Ghani and Abdullah Abdullah influenced the presidential election by massive falsification and consequently took over the government in Afghanistan. Both during the election campaign and during their term of office, they made empty promises to the Afghan people and the world community. They promised to fight poverty and to double the bread of the people of Afghanistan. Furthermore, they also pledged to abolish unemployment, combat drugs, bring education to the level of the West, abolish corruption, safeguard women's rights, prevent violence against women, severely crack down on terrorism, end the war and bring peace and happiness to the country, improve the health care system, build up a wealthy homeland, liberate the illegally occupied state property from the possession of criminals among other things. Looking back it has gradually been revealed that these empty promises were all lies.
Mr. Aschraf Ghani travelled to many provinces such as Mazari-Sharif, Nangerhar, Khost, Paktia, Kandahar, Herat, Helmand and others. He promised those who lived in the provinces that he would build up their cities and make them prosperous. In reality, however, he has not carried out any significant work for the benefit of those who live in the provinces. The residents of the provinces have repeatedly complained to Ashraf Ghani by means of Afghan television stations, blaming him for making many empty promises and not putting any of them into action. The dissatisfied Afghan citizens were therefore very disappointed and demanded in front of television cameras that Mr. Ashraf Ghani resign. Several television channels retain evidence of this in their archives. We also want the immediate resignation of Ashraf Ghani. Since his election campaign in 2014 he has promised a lot, but so far 90% has been lies.
Mr. Ashraf Ghani has not been able to set up a complete cabinet since the beginning of the government. He has suspended from service or retired many qualified individuals, including army generals with years of experience. Instead, he has used mostly young inexperienced officers, whom he has promoted to generals. Many government posts are sold by the government for cash payments in the amount of 100,000 USD to 1 million USD.
Speaking at the beginning of October 2018 about aid funds for Afghan journalists, Ashraf Ghani made his appeal to the Afghan people and said smilingly, “You are not paying any taxes anyway. But do support the journalist relief funds.” It is a disgrace for the Afghan president to address the people in this way regarding the non-payment of taxes and to smile while doing so. Ashraf Ghani has no control over his emotions. At his official meetings, if he is in a bad mood he insults the army generals and his advisors. Ashraf Ghani is just as emotional in his speeches, sometimes laughing, sometimes appearing loud and aggressive.
Compared to the times of the Karzai government, the situation in Afghanistan has continued to deteriorate since the takeover of Ashraf Ghani and his co-governing Abdullah Abdulla. Corruption in all areas has increased. Unemployment has continued to rise, with violence against women, drug cultivation and drug trafficking, rape, robbery, deportation or people, poverty, ethnic conflict and anarchy in all cities. The failed President Ashraf Ghani has made no progress for the country, on the contrary, he has caused it to take steps backwards. The failed president, who has always lied to the Afghan people, has caused the government responsible for 32 million Afghans to fail. He should apologise to the Afghan people and to the world community.
The wife of Ashraf Ghani comes from Lebanon. Ashraf Ghani has awarded many government contracts to Lebanese people to pay millions of dollars in commissions to his wife's relatives. In this way he wants to cover over the direct receipt of commissions and thereby not attract attention in public. His relatives in Afghanistan are also involved in corruption and nepotism as they receive bribes and illegal commissions. The co-governing Mr. Abdullah Abdullah is also involved in corruption and receiving illegal commissions. According to the latest SIGAR report, even the anti-corruption agency in Afghanistan is involved in corruption.
The president should not only take over the political leadership, but also the moral one. He should be the motor of the nation, leading people into a better present and into an even better future. This goal has not been achieved by the current president. In view of the national and international clique economy, Afghanistan seems to be vegetating under a cancerous growth. A mixture of parties, local princes, drug lords and clans are preventing the recovery of the country. As this government continues, this cancer continues to proliferate, with the result of growing corruption, growing poverty for the mass of Afghans and growing suffering.
Ashraf Ghani and his friends want to run for the office of Afghan president again. As a reason for his candidacy for another term of office Ashraf Ghani stated that he wants to complete the work already begun. This is a trick, once again to give false hopes to the Afghan people.
Ashraf Ghani and his gang of mafia will once again try to win the next presidential election with the help of tricks and massive falsifications in order to share their profits through a fake coalition after the election.
Ashraf Ghani wants to deceive and trick Afghans by promising free and transparent presidential elections. In the presidential election of 2014, he carried out massive electoral falsification and deceived the Afghan people and the world community. A renewed candidacy of Ashraf Ghani with his friends would be a disgrace for him. For the country Afghanistan it would be a disaster to be ruled again by such a mafia gang.
Even if Ashraf Ghani were not available for the next presidential election, his friends and mafia gang would appear as candidates to take over the government and power.
Over 70% of the Afghan parliamentary elections in October 2018 were manipulated and are therefore not accepted by us. All previous elections in Afghanistan were distorted. We and the majority of the Afghan people are sure that the presidential elections announced by Ashraf Ghani will be a one hundred percent failure.
According to the UNAMA report, the parliamentary elections of October 2018 were more bloody when compared with the previous 4 elections. The number of dead and injured amounted to 435 people.
Our neighbour Iran wants to get more water from the Afghan rivers. There is an agreement from 1973 between Afghanistan and Iran, signed during the reign of ex-King Zahir Shah by the Afghan Prime Minister Musa Shafiq and the Iranian Prime Minister Abas Huwaida to regulate the matter. Our expectation from the afghan government is not to make more concessions to Iran concerning the water of Afghanistan, not even for cash payments. The waters of the Afghan rivers belong to the poor in Afghanistan and must not be given away.
We talk straight: We are in favour of US and international soldiers continuing to remain in Afghanistan to ensure security. We want to defeat the terrorists and not be intimidated by them.
Kind regards
Hayattullah Maiwand
1.Chairman of the FDPA
We and the Afghan people do not want the Afghan government to continue under the control of Afghan mafia gangs!
Mr Ashraf Ghani and Mr Abdullah Abdullah both engaged in massive fraud during the 2014 presidential election. The Afghan mafia manipulated those elections with more than $100 million in bribes. Now those same two along with a few others are planning to run for president again and will once again engage in massive fraud. And the Afghan Mafia gang is once again behind it all determined to see their candidates win so that they can secure their profits. Over 70% of the Afghan parliamentary elections in October 2018 were manipulated. The election complaints commission has already received more than 10,000 complaints. The election commission's claim that it can separate valid votes from manipulated votes is impossible to implement in practice. It's like preparing a soup with dirty water and then trying to separate the dirty water from the soup again: it's practically impossible. Afghan elections to date have been an inseparable mélange of valid and falsified votes.
As reported on Afghan TV channels, those who currently hold the reins of power in the Afghan government are the same people who have stolen billions from the state's coffers, illegally occupied state-owned property, and generally treated the rule of law as well as Ashraf Ghani has treated the rules for fair elections. If an honest person would actually run for president in the future, he would have no chance at winning, since the opposing candidates and their supporters in the mafia gang will manipulate the elections with millions in bribes to ensure their candidates win.
If the Afghan Mafia once again steals the presidential elections, they would, as they did with the governments of Hamid Karzai and Ashraf Ghani, fill the ministries, governorships, regional governments, customs and other government agencies, the military and the police with their cronies and siphon off income from corruption and state contracts for their own profit. They would also continue using various tricks to steal grants from the world community for their own personal enrichment.
32 million Afghans, especially the women, have already suffered long enough over 17 years under Karzai and Ghani. 54% of the Afghan population lives below the poverty line. Nevertheless, the Afghan mafia gang has not shied away from stealing enormous sums from the public purse.
Due to the massive electoral fraud, we do not recognise or accept the results of the parliamentary elections of October 2018.
The candidates that ran were not suitable for the office of Member of Parliament. We want MPs with appropriate qualifications. They should be trained in constitutional law, women's rights, and government infrastructure by attending basic training courses that could last 3 to 6 months. They should then undergo appropriate examinations and only be admitted to parliamentary elections if they have successfully completed their studies.
There is currently no order and discipline in Afghanistan. Without order and discipline, there can be no free and transparent elections. Internal security is also an important prerequisite for the holding of elections. In the parliamentary elections in October 2018, 170 people were victims of terrorist attacks.
Mr Hamid Karzai and Mr Ashraf Ghani had both made assurances that they would hold free and transparent presidential and parliamentary elections. Previous elections and the most recent parliamentary elections of October 2018 have proved that these were lies designed to deceive the Afghan people.
Several elections have been held since Hamid Karzai took power. Under him and under Ashraf Ghani, each election has been marked with massive fraud. Hundreds of millions of dollars of state money were wasted on these elections.
The Afghan people want justice, freedom, women's rights, and honest government.
We will form a transitional government if we win a mandate to govern.
During this transitional phase, we will win the war against terrorists and secure peace. We will also combat corruption and drugs. We will ensure that internal security, justice, freedom, women's rights, order and discipline are established in Afghanistan. Once these objectives have been achieved, it would then be possible to hold free and transparent elections.
We respect the Afghan constitution and will implement it if we take over government.
With kind regards,
Hayattullah Maiwand

The Afghan parliamentary elections were a disaster!
President Ashraf Ghani and his government have long since been a failure. Likewise, this government has completely failed in the current parliamentary elections.
Election observers and residents of several provinces confirm that the electoral commission has not fulfilled its tasks and responsibilities in the organisation of the parliamentary elections. Many election observers were not even allowed into the polling stations. The election observers called these the most chaotic elections in the history of Afghanistan.
Many citizens went to the polling stations to vote, but were unable to do so because the electoral lists or ballot papers were missing or their names were not found on the electoral roll.
It was reported many times that at numerous polling stations, the biometric devices for voter registration were missing or did not work or the responsible persons were not familiar with their operation. Eyewitnesses reported that at many polling stations, local staff or influential rulers took home biometric data acquisition equipment, including ballot papers in order to manipulate them.
FEFA (Free and fair Electoral Forum of Afghanistan) said that these were organisationally very bad and chaotic elections.
TEFA (Transparent Election Foundation of Afghanistan) also criticised the poor management of the electoral commission, citing problems in elections such as biometric device defects, lack of electoral documents and chaos, which prevented a large number of citizens from casting their votes.
Many citizens complained that they had registered in electoral lists in good time, but their names were missing from the electoral rolls, and they were denied the opportunity to vote. That is why they consider these elections as symbolic, an attempt to feign democracy.
Several hundred polling stations remained completely closed. Many polling stations did not open until 15:00, but closed again after a short time. There are indications that in many polling stations before they were opened as well as after their closing between 20:00 and 21:00, ballot boxes were filled by electoral staff or fraudsters. In numerous cases it has been reported that voters were paid money to buy votes.
It was also learned that at some polling stations it appears that deliberately no election material was provided possibly to influence election results.
According to the election complaints commission, so far more than 5,000 complaints or notifications have been received there.
As Mr. Ashraf Ghani and his government have repeatedly trampled on the law, the law was also broken in these elections, as the elections were extended to the second day.
The parliamentary elections were manipulated to a degree of over 70%, in which the rulers of the Afghan government are significantly involved. By means of this the government wants to bring about a weak parliament for a possible next term of office. The majority of candidates for the parliament are just not suitable. The chaos and election corruption described above are a disgrace for Ashraf Ghani and his government.
Furthermore, the parliamentary elections were overshadowed by violence because the Afghan government also failed to ensure the safety of citizens during the vote. Approximately 170 innocent civilians were killed or injured as victims of attacks during the parliamentary elections.
In addition, the cost of more than 100 million USD for the parliamentary elections was a significant waste of money.
We thank several Afghan broadcasters as well as the Afghan citizens who, through their reporting and complaints about the election process, have brought the alleged election frauds to light.
Many politicians have criticised the Afghan government for these chaotic circumstances and the manipulation allegations in the parliamentary elections.
The majority of the Afghan people including us are not satisfied with the parliamentary elections.
The Afghan people and we demand: the parliament of Afghanistan must not be occupied by mafia again.
We at the FDPA do not want to recognise and do not accept these parliamentary elections.
Yours faithfully,
Hayattullah Maiwand

Together we can be strong against terrorists!
Together we can be strong against terrorists!
Women in Afghanistan suffer under terrible circumstances. Young girls are forced into marriages. Women are beaten by their family members, sexually abused, held prisoner in their homes in order to deprive them of their freedom, murdered by violent acts, and much more.
During President Ghani's time in office, the situation of women and their rights in Afghanistan have continued to deteriorate.
These women are our mothers, our sisters, and our daughters.
If we take over the government, we will strengthen their rights and restore the freedoms they were granted by King Amanullah Khan about 100 years ago.
President Ghani's government is involved in corruption and nepotism. Corruption and chaos can be found far and wide, including government ministries, the military, the police, the judiciary, customs officials, administrative offices, education, and so forth. Whenever government contracts are awarded, high-ranking officials regularly collect illegal bribes. We will fight corruption with tough penalties if we take over the government.
Almost a billion dollars have disappeared in the Kabul Bank scandal. The transparent investigation of the scandal as promised by the government of Afghanistan has not made much progress.
After the events of 11 September 2001, the US and the world community sought to create peace, order, and democracy in Afghanistan. To this end, the Afghan people voted for former President Hamid Karzai with confidence in and high expectations on his government. Unfortunately, he and his den of thieves (like afghan Alibaba and 40 thieves) did hardly nothing noteworthy for the country of Afghanistan during his 13 years in power. Karzai's government did not care about the people. Its mistakes were the reason why terrorists found a fertile breeding ground in Afghanistan that increased the intensity of the war which continued to this day. He did even more damage to democracy in Afghanistan.
He was not interested in doing the work of running the country, but was instead busy lining his pockets and those of his cabinet members. Although about 54% of the Afghan population live below the poverty line, the thieves in the Karzai government used various tricks to loot the country's treasury and enrich themselves and about 500 of their closest allies. Even though there was an urgent need to invest public money in efforts to reduce poverty, reconstruct the country, introduce democratic order, and improve the standard of living for 32 million Afghans.
This predatory tradition has now been passed on like a tradition to President Ghani and his government, which is powerless to counteract the legacy left behind by Karzai and his henchmen. Karzai's government caused such serious damage through its mismanagement that its successor, i.e. President Ghani's government, has still not managed to repair it with any success. So the main culprit is former Afghan President Hamid Karzai. But the mafiosi in the former Karzai government still have their hands in the pot under Ghani's government. They want to regain their share of power in the future governance of Afghanistan.
The government of Afghanistan is not supposed to be a business doling out favours to different groups for their private profit. It should be a government in which cabinet offices and civil servant posts are only filled by suitable and qualified persons. Afghanistan has enough homeland-loving, conscientious, and educated professionals.
We have a large number of candidates available to fill future government positions in the event of a government takeover. These are people who will respect freedom and women's rights. Some of them are in Afghanistan and working in various offices. Others currently live in exile. In order not to endanger these persons, we will not give their names here. We are looking for other candidates to assume future cabinet or government offices, regardless of whether they currently reside in or outside of Afghanistan. For us, all Afghans are equal. We want to establish a government that works for all 32 million Afghans. We do not want to govern like former President Karzai or current President Ghani where a group of about 500 line their pockets.
This gang has robbed hundreds of millions or even billions of dollars from Afghanistan during the Karzai and Ghani governments and deposited it in foreign bank accounts or invested it in foreign property. The stolen assets are the property of 32 million Afghans, especially the poor people living in Afghanistan. We ask the international community to confiscate the assets in question and return them to the Afghan people. This money is to be used by social institutions to improve the standard of living of the poor in Afghanistan.
These thieves will try to flee abroad together with the stolen funds, apply for asylum, and eventually escape prosecution. We appeal to the international community not to grant these people asylum and residence, but instead to hand them over to Afghanistan.
We have proposed a compromise for those who have illegally enriched themselves with the public money of the Afghan people. These people should give the money back to the Afghan government because this money belongs to the poor in Afghanistan. Only then could amnesty be considered. Otherwise, they would face criminal consequences if we were to take over the government. This is the final warning to those who have committed these thefts. We mean it seriously because our politics is no fun.
Some Afghan politicians, who criticise the USA, and the world community, are the ones who have stolen billions from the public purse in Afghanistan.
We wish to thank intelligent politicians like US President Donald Trump, the United States, and the international community for helping us Afghans to rebuild the country and supporting our country in the fight against terrorism. Should the USA and the world community leave Afghanistan, Afghanistan would soon fall into the hands of terrorists.
We ask the international community to blacklist those countries that support terrorists and to impose sanctions against them.
The rays of the sun illuminate every corner of the world. God created the sun for all people in the world, because he is of course the God of all nations, regardless of different religious affiliations. We respect the world religions like Islam, Judaism, Christianity, Buddhism, and others. Islam is a holy religion that strictly forbids the killing of innocent people. The terrorists who kill innocent people under the name of Islam are giving a false image of Islam to the world.
Several conferences of Muslim scholars (ulema) have taken place this year: representatives from 57 countries gathered in Saudi Arabia, 2900 scholars (ulema) gathered in Kabul, and others gathered in Indonesia. At each of these conferences, the scholars (ulema) confirmed that the killing of innocent people is forbidden in Islam. They declared violent extremism, suicide bombings, and thus the tactics of the Taliban and IS groups in Afghanistan to be contrary to Islam and illegal.
The so-called Taliban fighters are neither mullahs (scholars) nor real taliban (students of the Qu'ran). They are terrorists. They must realise that the war they are waging in Afghanistan has nothing to do with Islam. This war is killing innocent people, including women, children, and the elderly, setting fire to schools and committing suicide attacks in bazaars, market squares, mosques, and sports stadiums. These satanic and barbaric acts are not allowed in any of the world's religions. They damage Islam and its reputation with their evil deeds. The terrorists ought to know that no one in history has yet managed to win a war against the Afghan people. The Afghan army is getting stronger by the day. We hereby warn the Taliban that they will certainly lose this war. That is why they should lay down their weapons and surrender. We call on the Taliban to renounce the work of Satan. Otherwise they will be destroyed by firestorm of bombs and ammunition and go to hell.
A mafia group working with terrorists is an integral part of the current Afghan government. We want to protect Afghanistan and its government from being taken over by such gangs.
We want to make the Afghan army once again one of the best armies in the world for self-defence. It should be equipped with the most modern weapons and have state-of-the art aerial weaponry.
In Afghanistan, about 3 million people are currently addicted to drugs. We want to severely punish those who cultivate and traffic drugs. In the future, Afghanistan must no longer be a country where these activities take place.
We also want to stop the looting of Afghanistan's natural resources.
We want to strongly support Afghanistan's agriculture, industry, merchants, and economy. We want to support the Afghan tourism industry so that tourists will once again visit our beautiful homeland in the future.
Often, fewer than 20% of Afghan MPs attend parliament sessions. Those who are missing are busy with private activities, business, and smuggling. We do not want a parliament that does not fulfil its purpose and tasks.
Members of Parliament should be expected to respect order and discipline and have the necessary qualifications. A successful background check should be required before they run for office.
If we take over the government, we will introduce a state of emergency for the first 6 months.
With kind regards,
Hayatullah Maiwand
Chairman of the FDPA
Democracy will fail without order!
Since April 2018, the citizens of Afghanistan have supposedly had the opportunity to register to participate in the 2018 parliamentary elections. Due to the fact that only a few citizens had signed up to participate after one month, the electoral commission decided to extend the deadline by 1 month.
Some citizens were even forced to register to participate against their will.
The electoral commission decided to make note of the issuance of registration cards by attaching a sticker on to copies of identification documents. However, this method facilitates election fraud. As per the media reports, it was told that some people used up to 20 copies of identification cards to obtain several registration cards. Some fraudsters own up to 6 identification cards, which were used several times to register for the election. Identification cards are sold or bought for a price of 1,000 Afghanis (equivalent 14 USD) so that they can be used to manipulate the elections. A type of mafia organisation is in power and their goal is to secure their own position in the future central parliament and provincial parliaments.
According to information from the Afghan electoral commission, 4.2 million citizens have already registered for the future parliament elections. As a result of the serious manipulations, as mentioned above, we believe that approx. 60 percent of the distributed registration cards were issued illegally. If this share was deducted from the whole figure amounting to 4.2 million, only around 1,680,000 ballot cards would be legally valid. Among the 17 million eligible voters, this would correspond to a share of approx. 10 %. The low voter turnout, which the mistaken policy of President Ashraf Ghani is responsible for, is not sufficient for the legitimacy of the parliamentary elections.
The candidates for the parliamentary seats should have the appropriate qualification, be neutral and have a university degree. By participating in basic training courses lasting between 3 to 6 months, they should be given information about democracy and be taught about constitutional law, women’s rights and infrastructure. The Afghan government failed to ensure the necessary qualification of the candidates.
Due to the aforementioned falsifications and the low voter turnout, we are now boycotting the parliamentary elections. The majority of the Afghan population made it clear that they would also be boycotting the parliamentary elections by not participating in the elections.
The aforementioned type of electoral fraud has taken place in Afghanistan several times before; even during ex President Hamid Karsai’s period in office. Electoral manipulations are surely to be expected at the next presidential elections as well.
In consideration of the circumstance represented above, we believe that it would be better for an international world community to take over the role to nominate qualified and suitable members of parliament for the central and provincial Afghan parliaments, in lieu of leaving it in the hands of electoral fraudsters. This is the only way to avoid the domestic mafia from reoccupying the central and provincial parliaments.
This also applies to the election of the future head of government in Afghanistan, who should also be nominated by the international world community because the country needs order to hold democratic and legitimate elections and we all know that democracy fails without order.
For quite some time, the Taliban attacks in Afghanistan have increased. Therefore, we would like to direct the following at the Taliban:
Therefore we urge you (Taliban) to do the following:
A better offer is rather unlikely. In the event of your rejection, you (Taliban) are at risk of being destroyed and going to hell due to your misdeeds.
The so-called peace council in Afghanistan is useless and has made no significant contributions to peace in Afghanistan to date.
In doing so, the work of the peace council since its foundation has cost almost 1 billion dollars without even achieving a positive result. Therefore, we request the closing of the peace council.
All financial aid from the West are being wasted by the Afghan government. The Afghan government is mainly composed of corrupt rulers and thieves. The citizens do not trust this government. Mineral oil to the value of 156 million dollars was stolen from the army stocks. Furthermore, thousands of police and military vehicles were stolen and they were either resold or used for private or commercial purposes.
There is no order in the Afghan government! The government is involved in corruption in all sectors.
Most of the rulers of the Afghan government are members of the mafia. This mafia was also involved in the government during ex President Hamid Karsai’s period in office and will continue to maintain a mafia government and mafia parliament in Afghanistan.
97% of the population are unsatisfied with the current government.
54% of the Afghani population live below the poverty level.
The number of drug addicts, including youngsters and women has increased and is currently at approx. 3 million.
On 14.5.18 President Ashraf Ghani mentioned that the nation should inform him if they do not like one or the other minister from his cabinet and he would ensure that the minister in question would be suspended from his office. The nation requested President Ashraf Ghani to resign in front of the cameras on several occasions. But President Ghani has not respected the requests of the people by keeping his ears and eyes shut. We are joining this movement and demand his resignation.
In the event that our party were to take over government responsibility in Afghanistan, we will destroy terrorists in Afghanistan, win the war and establish peace.
We would like to thank the USA and the world community for their help to our country Afghanistan.
Yours sincerely,
Hayattullah Maiwand

The Afghan president is an inexperienced politician
Dear ladies and gentlemen,
The Afghan government officially started issuing electronic identity cards on 03.05.2018.
Among other things, the new electronic identity cards also include details of tribal affiliation. The list of tribes specified for this consists of a handful of the actual number of tribes in existence in Afghanistan.
We oppose the introduction of electronic ID cards in their current form, as details on the cards enhance tribal affiliation. This could lead to ethnic conflict among Afghans, both in present and future generations. A majority of the Afghan people, including politicians such as Mr. Abdullah Abdullah, oppose the introduction of electronic ID cards based on tribal identities. We welcome their support on this matter.
We demand that electronic ID cards comply with international standards. As such, they should contain information on the individual's first name, surname, nationality (Afghan), date of birth, place of birth, address, height and eye colour.
Mr. Ashraf Ghani is an inexperienced politician, and the above decision may incite the Afghan people.
We therefore strongly condemn the Ashraf Ghani government's plan to distribute electronic ID cards in their current form.
In the event that our party takes over government in Afghanistan, we will invalidate the current electronic ID cards and instead introduce new ID cards in line with international standards.
Inexperienced politicians such as President Ashraf Ghani are unable to provide security and stability in Afghanistan. To date Mr. Ashraf Ghani has not succeeded in making Kabul, the capital outside his palace, any safer. This lack of security is due to the corruption in which his government is involved.
The world community is helping to rebuild and stabilise Afghanistan with huge sums of money. Ashraf Ghani’s government is using these funds wastefully instead of investing them appropriately.
We therefore call for inexperienced politicians to resign from the Afghan government with immediate effect.
We are all one Afghan people.
Warmest regards,
Hayattullah Maiwand

The failed president of Afghanistan!
The Afghan people want to live in peace after 39 years of war, suffering and poverty.
It is unquestionable that we also want peace in Afghanistan, but not at any price.
We want to negotiate peace with the Taliban only when the government led by President Ashraf Ghani has announced that it will step down because it is corrupt and promotes nepotism. Furthermore, President Ashraf Ghani’s government has also failed to achieve any successes with either of its domestic or foreign policies.
Even though we show every respect and sympathy concerning President Ashraf Ghani’s illness, we do not think his behaviour is at all appropriate. We do not approve of the way that he bangs the table with his fists and makes theatrical hand gestures in all directions during political discussions. We also do not approve of the way that he attempts to intimidate his audience by shouting into the microphone.
When we negotiate peace with the Taliban, we will require that the Taliban respects the rights of women. We will also demand that the Taliban recognises and respects the Afghan constitution.
Yours faithfully
Hayattullah Maiwand

There is no order in the Afghan government!
There is no order in the Afghan government!
Afghanistan has become the world’s biggest producer of opium and heroin.
There are approximately 250 million people dependent on drugs in the world, including women and young people, of which more than 2 million are in Afghanistan. Afghanistan’s neighbours are also critical of this development, as they also suffer the consequences. Both members of the Afghan government and the terrorists benefit from the drugs trade.
Violations of women’s rights and use of violence against women in Afghanistan have increased. There are many qualified women in Afghanistan, who could be appointed to the administration. Generally women are refused the right to professional activity in administrative bodies as these positions are often bought using financial payment.
Criminal gangs run child trafficking. Underage children are being smuggled and then sold on to other criminals. The children named are then used for suicide attacks or used as drugs mules, and also sexually abused.
Violent criminals extort money payments from Afghan traders. In other cases, their children are abducted, so the criminals can implement their demands.
Criminality rates have gone up. The Afghan government has failed in its attempts to deal with the social ills above.
President Ashraf Ghani’s government, including the cabinet, are involved in nepotism and corruption. Corruption is also widespread within the Afghan army. Mineral oil (fuel) destined for the army is often sold elsewhere, and money intended for provisions for soldiers flows into private hands. The extent of the corruption in all other bodies of the Ashraf Ghani government, as mentioned in previous submissions, has also increased. Even the Afghanistan anti-corruption authority itself is suspected of corruption.
Ex-President Mr Hamid Karzai and the members of his government at the time, who also had to respond to corruption scandals from their time in government, talk about convening the “Loya Jurga”, a major assembly, in order to regain power in Afghanistan in this way. Widespread electoral fraud in Afghanistanis a tradition dating back to the time of the Karzai government.
The Afghan government has not yet managed to introduce the new personal identification cards. There is argument about the entry of tribal origin information. The personal identification cards should meet international standards, including information about name, date of birth and nationality. Additional information beyond this could cause problems and conflict.
The Taliban are responsible for the death of many civilians. Even women and children have been killed in their attacks on mosques.
Terrorists should never believe they are winning the war in Afghanistan.
We ask the government of President Ashraf Ghani to resign as soon as possible, as the position in Afghanistan has become worse year by year under his governance.
Yours sincerely,
Hayattullah Maiwand
Chair of the FDPA
No deals with terrorists!
No deals with terrorists!
Dear Leaders,
Terrorists fighting in Afghanistan have hitherto killed many innocent civilians, including women and children. They have kidnapped people and extorted money from them. They have also set fire to schools and killed sick people inside hospitals. Such acts have nothing to do with Islam. On the contrary, they are barbaric and diabolical offenses against humanity.
Terrorists represent a real danger for Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the whole world. Therefore the world community needs to take decisive action against them.
We Afghans do not want to be intimidated by terrorists.
The Taliban in Afghanistan must unconditionally lay down their weapons and
respect the Afghan constitution. Taliban participation in the Afghan government must not be accepted as a condition for laying down their weapons.
Those Taliban members who credibly admit their mistakes and therefore show regret for their action could be promised amnesty if they promise to help rebuild Afghanistan. If suitable and qualified, they could then apply for public office.
We want the Taliban office in Doha, Qatar closed, as this office has not met its intended purpose.
The terrorists should know that they have no chance of success in Afghanistan. The Afghan army is growing stronger every day with international support.
Kindest Regards,
Hayattullah Maiwand

The government of Ashraf Ghani has long since failed
The government of Ashraf Ghani has long since failed
The failure of the Afghan government in domestic and foreign policy as well as the many other governmental functions has resulted in this government being considered a failure. Moreover, Ashraf Ghani and his government are ignoring the Afghan constitution. Meanwhile, 96% of the Afghan population is against the current government.
The government of Ashraf Ghani is fully involved in corruption and nepotism
There is corruption in the police, military institutions, judiciary, secret service, customs, tax authorities, educational institutions, as well as corruption at all administrative authorities. Some government and administration positions are awarded in exchange for cash payments.

CHAOS REIGNS IN MY COUNTRY
CHAOS REIGNS IN MY COUNTRY
Ashraf Ghani's government is in Afghanistan in office since September 2014. His government's scorecard is bleak, having failed in terms of both domestic and international policies. The government has made no progress since coming into power. It provides no services, but instead absolutely betrays the Afghan people by disregarding or trampling all over the Afghan constitution. It’s high time that this government resigns, because it has 100 % failed.
The government of Ashraf Ghani is envolved in nepotism and corruption.
Corruption and chaos can be found far and wide, including in the areas of ministries, the military, police, justice, customs, administration, etc. There is no functioning judicial system as well as control and administrative systems. More than half of tax revenues flow into the private pockets of corrupt rulers.
Between the time this government came into power and the present, those in power have been busy battling over the staffing and distribution of key government posts. These posts are occupied by corrupt individuals. Some government and administration positions are awarded in exchange for cash payments.
There is no functioning secret service to prevent attacks, as most officials are corrupt and close their eyes in order to safeguard their own interests. Furthermore, there is no military discipline, which will be necessary to effectively fight terrorists.
We Afghans are all one people!
We Afghans are all one people!
Dear Sir or Madam,
According to media reports, Mr Ata Mohammad Noor, Governor of the Balkh province, has a fortune of more than one billion dollars. He has earned this money through corruption, drug trafficking and illegal real estate transactions. Ata Mohammad Noor tries to use his tribe to trigger ethnic conflicts, and to stir the tribes up against each other, thereby expanding his position of political power. The Afghans are a unified people, despite the diversity of tribes, such as Pashtuns, Tajiks, Uzbeks, Hazaras, etc. Only a small minority like Ata Mohammad Noor and his like-minded followers try to drive a wedge through Afghan society.
Ata Mohammad Noor does not want peace in Afghanistan, because this would endanger his interests. According to media reports, he causes unrest himself and then blames the Taliban for it. We are labelling Ata Mohammad Noor as an Afghan Mafia boss. It is high time that Ata Mohammad Noor was taken to court to be held responsible for his actions.
Yours faithfully
Hayattullah Maiwand

Reality: The Afghan people are dissatisfied with the current failed government!
Reality: The Afghan people are dissatisfied with the current failed government!
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
The government of President Ashraf Ghani is in office since September 2014 in Afghanistan.
Meanwhile 91 % of the Afghan people have lost confidence in the Afghan government.
Some government and administration positions are awarded in exchange for cash payments.
There are criminal gangs that make people's lives difficult in every city. They kidnap wealthy civilians to extort payments of money. The government is unable to control the situation and to maintain order.
The sexual abuse of children (underage boys) has been increased in Ahghanistan and the government has totally failed to prevent the crime.
The mineral resources in Afghanistan have been looted by various criminal groups.
Many public and private properties have been illegally taken by rulers.
Since the government of Ashraf Ghani is in office, the economy of the country is going down. It occurs capital fligt there, because the Afghan people haven lost confidience in the future and there is no security in the country.
President Ashraf Ghani still has no significant influence in Kabul or Afghanistan. There is no Afghan state in the towns and villages of Afghanistan, instead it is the warlords and local rulers who call the shots.
The fight against opium cultivation and drug trafficking has come to a standstill. A lot of officials are envolved in drug trafficking and due to their personal gain they are never interested to prevent the drug crime.
The transparent investigation into the Kabulbank scandal promised by the government is not being moved along.
The war in Afghanistan has lasted for 37 years. The terrorists are still not defeated. The intended peace process with the Taliban has failed. The Government of Ashraf Ghani has failed to bring peace and failed to bring stability to the country. Some of government officials have closed relation with Taliban an ISIS Groups, therefore such people do not work for the peace and stability in Afghanistan.
Above all, Afghan women are suffering the most. In practice, there is no real equality between women and men. Women's rights continue to be violated, as before. There can be no talk of democracy and freedom.
The government of Ashraf Ghani has also failed in other areas, among them environmental protection, infrastructure, relief efforts for refugees who have returned and so on. Unemployment has risen. The people are afraid of terrorist and criminal gangs. There is a lack of security and prospects for the future. The poorest of the poor must suffer from these conditions the most. All this has meant that the number of refugees from Afghanistan has increased one year on. Furthermore, the risk continues to increase that the reactionary Taliban and these terrorists will get a greater response and as a result their numbers will continue to grow. The influence of these extremely dangerous groups grows larger by the day.
We must never forget the terrorist attack of 11 September 2001 and also the other terrorist attacks around the world. The government of Afghanistan should provide all necessary support to the international community in fight against terrorism.
The government of Ashraf Ghani has failed not only in domestic policy but also pursues a very weak policy in foreign affairs.
President Ashraf Ghani uses lofty slogan and big promises during his speeches to Afghans and foreign guests, without translating them into action.
Should the government of Ashraf Ghani remain in office, this will continue to be a waste of time and money. The frustration of the Afghan people will thus continue.
The president should not just assume political leadership but also moral leadership. He should be the driving force of the nation which leads the people into a better present and an even better future. The current president has never achieved this goal. Afghanistan seems to be vegetating from a cancer in the face of national and international economy cliques. A sleaze of parties, local leaders, drug barons and clans is preventing the country’s recovery. In case of continuation of this government, this cancer will continue to spread resulting in growing corruption, growing poverty for the mass of Afghanis and growing suffering.
Only a very small part of the enormous amounts of money provided by the US and Europe for the reconstruction of the country has being invested into such important projects. Most of the money oozes away (into dark channels).
The opportunities for a peacefull and democratic Afghanistan are still there, especially if the Western world supports Afghanistan with financial resources, politcal and economic „know-how“ and soldiers. But don`t forget, that these targets cannot be met with Ashraf Ghani`s corrupt government, as above explained.
Yours faithfully
Hayattullah Maiwand

My country is in trouble!
My country is in trouble!
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
As President Hamid Karsai’s 13-year term of office ended in September 2014, the Afghan people expected his successor, President Ashraf Ghani, to ensure peace and stability in the country as well as to put an end to widespread corruption and chaos.
Yet since the assumption of power by the government of President Ashraf Ghani the situation in Afghanistan has not improved, but on the contrary deteriorated considerably. The poverty and suffering of the Afghan people has increased. Opium growing and drug trafficking is still practiced. There is no functioning judiciary as well as taxation and administrative systems. Half of the tax revenue flows into the private pockets of corrupt potentates.
In the meantime, the war in Afghanistan has been going on for 36 years. Up to now the government of Ashraf Ghani has not succeeded in bringing about peace and leading the country towards stability.
In particular, Afghan women suffer most of all. In practice there is actually no equality between women and men. Women’s rights are still disregarded. There can be no talk of democracy and freedom.
Warlords, drug barons and radicals are also involved in power in the government of President Ashraf Ghani. Administrative positions are usually filled by corrupt individuals.
President Ashraf Ghani still has no significant influence in Kabul or Afghanistan. In the towns and villages of Afghanistan, the Afghan state does not govern, but the warlords and local rulers have the say. In every town there are criminal organisations and large gangs which make life difficult for people. The government is unable to ensure order.
The Taliban still have not been defeated yet. Every day they carry out attacks everywhere in Afghanistan. The government is unable to prevent this and to protect the population. The poorest of the poor must suffer under these conditions. As a result, there is an increasing danger that the radical Taliban - and with them the terrorists - are obtaining great popularity and appropriate support. The influence of these extremely dangerous groups is getting greater from day to day.
Afghanistan’s economy has hit rock bottom since the assumption of power by President Ashraf Ghani. Young people in Afghanistan suffer from high unemployment, lack of prospects and lacking security. That is why some of these people see themselves compelled to seek refuge in the world’s safe countries. In the process, they often lost their life due to dangers while fleeing.
The government of Ashraf Ghani has also failed in other areas, among them environmental protection, infrastructure, relief efforts for refugees who have returned and so on.
The chances for the democratisation and pacification of Afghanistan are still good, particularly if the West provides money as well a political and economic know-how. But bear in mind that these objectives cannot be implemented with the corrupt government of Ashraf Ghani. The Afghan people have long since lost trust in the government.
If President Ashraf Ghani remains in office, he will squander your money, your time and endanger the life of your sons and daughters who are serving in Afghanistan. The life of Afghan soldiers is also imperilled.
Help Afghanistan to obtain democracy and freedom, law and order and therefore stability. Exert your influence wherever you can. Remind your politicians and demand clarification as to where Western money is flowing.
President Ashraf Ghani’s immediate resignation would be the best thing for Afghanistan under consideration of the situation described above.
