There is no need for the Iranian authorities to come to Helmand to check the water situation in Helmand

Iran's Ambassador to Kabul, Hassan Kazemi Qomi, wants Iranian officials to come to Afghanistan and check the Kajaki Dam in Helmand. That would mean Iranian officials coming to check Afghans' personal pockets. We firmly reject Iran's request. There is no need for Iranian officials to inspect the Helmand waters. Afghanistan is one of the countries hit by a severe drought. Therefore, it would be better if Iran would contact the international climate research organizations and get the necessary information from them about the impact of climate change and drought in Afghanistan.
